Me and a couple friends were driving through and we walked into blacksmith to check it out. Had a couple beers each and had great service from our bartender Laren. We had a good time . Next time we pass through we'll definitely stop by.

Blacksmith in Redwood City is one of my favorite spots. The cocktails are great, the music sets a fun vibe, and the atmosphere is both lively and relaxed. Harry is fantastic—super friendly and makes the experience even better. The outdoor patio is also a great touch, perfect for hanging out with friends. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a regular at Blacksmith for years, and it’s truly become like a second home to me. When I first moved to the city, everyone at the bar—including the owners—were some of my very first friends, and they’ve been taking care of me ever since. That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it’s what makes this place so special. There’s just something about the atmosphere—the music, the energy, the people—that always hits perfectly whether you’re winding down or going out. The entire crew here deserves a shoutout. Everyone is welcoming, attentive, and truly makes you feel like part of the family every time you walk in. shoutout to Andres—he’s one of the many reasons I keep coming back. He’s not only incredibly skilled behind the bar, but he also brings such a great energy every time. He remembers what people like, makes amazing recommendations, and always makes you feel taken care of. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every drink and interaction. If you’re looking for a place with amazing drinks, great people, and a vibe that keeps you coming back, Blacksmith is it.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a great time! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the drinks are consistently good. Marvin is hands down one of the best bartenders—super friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home every time. He always brings great energy and takes care of everyone at the bar. Definitely one of my favorite spots, highly recommend!

Great night at Blacksmith in Redwood City. The place has that perfect mix of relaxed neighborhood bar and cool craft-cocktail spot. The drinks were excellent—balanced, creative, and clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing. Big shout-out to bartender Laren, who was friendly, fast, and made the whole experience even better. She also makes a killer lemon drop—seriously one of the best I’ve had. Awesome atmosphere, great music, and just an all-around solid spot to grab a drink. Definitely coming back.

Blacksmith is easily one of the best spots in downtown Redwood City if you’re looking for a great cocktail and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly make the place stand out—they’re attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment you walk in, you feel taken care of, with bartenders who are happy to recommend drinks and take the time to craft them perfectly. The service never feels rushed, even when the bar gets busy, and the team does a fantastic job making everyone feel like a regular. It’s the kind of place where the excellent staff and thoughtful service keep you coming back.

I had a great experience and a great drink. I don’t drink alcohol like that so I asked about mocktail options. My bartender was Loren and she was super friendly and very knowledgeable with the drink options. She ended up making me a mocktail that was pineapple and vanilla based! It was so good!!! I will definitely be back again for another and another lol

Came with husband and it was our first time here, tonight. There was a live DJ at 9pm. The music we entered into was smooth current rnb hits and was a total vibe to me. Music wins in my book. Not sure if this is every night. Decor was really legit. I loved the torch lamps being built into the bar, the globe hanging lamps, dimly lit to look like a speakeasy but still open enough to feel like it’s not claustrophobic. Our bartender was Harry and he was phenomenal. I’ve never been to a bar where people are so swift with their mixing skills. He was flipping and catching the mixer thing and I was just in awe by how talented and attentive the guy was. Shout out to Harry. He really knows cool mixology tricks!

I’ve been coming to Blacksmith in Redwood City since 2019, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in the area. The atmosphere is always great — good vibes, good music, and a really welcoming environment that makes you want to stay and hang out for a while. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, which honestly makes a huge difference. You can tell they care about the experience people have there. And the drinks? Amazing. Especially when they’re made by Andres. He seriously knows what he’s doing behind the bar. Every drink he makes is perfectly balanced, creative, and just overall impressive. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it really shows. If you’re looking for a spot with great energy, great drinks, and awesome people, I definitely recommend Blacksmith. It’s been one of my go-to places for years.
